16 RPTRAs to Be Built This Year

This year, Jakarta Public Housing and Settlement (PRKP) Department plans to build 16 Children-Friendly Integrated Places (RPTRA)s. It is targeted to start building it in June.

We allocate around Rp 40 billion for its budget

Jakarta PRKP Department Head, Kelik Indriyanto mentioned, four RPTRAs to be built in Central Jakarta, five RPTRAs in North Jakarta, one RPTRA in Thousand Islands, two RPTRAs in West Jakarta, two RPTRAs in South Jakarta, and two RPTRAs in East Jakarta.

"We allocate around Rp 40 billion for its budget. Currently we are still coordinating with PPAP Department for its planning," he informed, Tuesday (1/22).

It will have jogging track, playground, sport facility, library, lactation room, and disabled-friendly toilet. But facilities in several RPTRAs will be adjusted based on land area.

"Such as sport facilities. For wide area, we want to make volleyball or futsal field. But if it is not possible, maybe we can make Three-on-Three basketball field," he add ed.
